Costa De Cocos Lodge

About the Fishing

Over the past ten years Costa de Cocos has discovered and pioneered a vast network of largely unexplored and unfished bonefish, tarpon, and permit flats in Chetumal Bay and in the area's mangrove ringed inland lagoons. They also have the ability to fish ocean-side areas with more permit and bonefish on deeper turtle grass flats. Twenty-nine very large, productive flats and lagoon systems have now been mapped, with new areas continuing to be explored. Like many of the bodies of water in this part of Mexico, Chetumal Bay offers fantastic diversity with regards to species.
